French Oak Floors
Loving the juxtaposition of the bright slightly honey toned warm french oak wood floors with the cool grays and clean white walls. (DuChateau Floors- Oil Finish.) The cool simple stainless steel cabinet knobs and other details pull the two sides of the room together. Some designers might consider adding a simple tin tile ceiling design to the drop down ceiling in the kitchen but this time, we think the ceiling detail in the family room is plenty.
We are showcasing this room to illustrate how a dark surface can really pop against the natural french oak floors.
Finally, this same neutral floor works just as great in a more traditional room.
Make it a beautiful day!
